Dean of College of Agricultural Studies Meets the Agricultural Attaché of the Chinese Embassy

Dr. Abbas Elshaikh Rahma, Dean of the College of Agricultural Studies, held a meeting with the Agricultural Attaché of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Sudan, accompanied by the Cultural Attaché of the Embassy. The visit was held in light of the recent meeting of Prof. Awad Saad Hassan, vice chancellor of the university, with the Chinese Ambassador.

 

The meeting discussed the aspects of cooperation between the two sides in the agricultural field and creating opportunities for knowledge and research exchange between specialized institutions in the two countries. The Dean of the College praised the response and the great interest of the Chinese side in developing the agricultural sector in Sudan, and the two parties insisted on the need to open communication channels with major Chinese companies specialized in the field of agriculture and animal production, in addition to the transfer and application of technology in the agricultural field in Sudan. The meeting also discussed the necessity of exchanging researchers and students at university and postgraduate studies levels in the agricultural field, in addition to holding scientific forums frequently.
